Can we choose the colour of the glass partition frame?

Yes, baked paint is applied to all COSTAL glass partitions to ensure their durability.

We offer standard black and white colours with various finishes (matte, gloss, textured, or satin). For any colour combination to match your décor, it is also possible to choose a colour outside our standard options or have a unique colour developed for your project.

What types of openings are available for custom glass partitions?

COSTAL glass partitions offer various opening configurations, such as hinged systems, pivot doors, sliding, or accordion systems, allowing for optimal adaptation to the space and the client's functional needs.

Can doors be integrated into a custom interior glass partition?

What is the process for designing a custom interior glass partition?

The process includes on-site measurements taken by specialized technicians, followed by the delivery of a detailed approval plan. After validation, the handcrafted manufacturing begins, with special attention given to welding and finishing. Finally, the installation is carried out with care, with no visible screws or mechanical assembly, ensuring a clean aesthetic.

What are your installation timelines?

After taking measurements, you should expect approximately 8 weeks for the installation of your COSTAL glass partition.

However, certain factors may extend this timeline, such as special glass types, custom colours, bespoke elements integrated into the project, or delays in client approval of plans.

How is the installation carried out?

COSTAL glass partitions are exclusively manufactured in our workshop. No welding is done on-site. Only the installation of the partitions and the insertion of the glass are performed.

When should measurements be taken?

Our glass partitions are custom-made with as little spacing as possible. We manufacture to the nearest 1/16'' so it is important that your floor is laid and the joints drawn.

What is the durability of steel interior glass partitions?

Steel glass partitions are known for their strength and longevity. Their solid structure ensures enhanced resistance, and the baked paint coating protects against impacts and fading, ensuring exceptional durability.

What is the soundproofing level of your COSTAL glass partitions?

Our fixed partitions have an ISTC 32* rating, which is comparable to a drywall wall without insulation.

What is tempered glass?

Tempered glass is 2 to 5 times stronger than non-tempered glass. Thanks to the tempering process, when it breaks, it shatters into thousands of small, non-sharp, non-jagged pieces. This significantly reduces the risk of serious injuries. We use only tempered glass for all our projects.

What is the thickness of the glass?

It is important to note that each pane is an individual piece of glass. The size of these panes, determined by the positioning of the mullions, influences the thickness of the glass chosen for your project. We use glass with thicknesses ranging from 4mm to 8mm. Some types of textured glass do not offer thickness options, so we must adapt the size of the panes based on the available thickness limitations.

What is the automatic door bottoms used for?

The automatic door bottoms fill the gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. They are often used in wine cellars or rooms that require maximum soundproofing. The threshold is located in the steel tube at the bottom of the door and drops once the door is in the closed position.

Maintaining a COSTAL interior glass partition is simple. It is recommended to regularly clean the glass surfaces with suitable products and wipe the steel frames with a soft cloth to preserve their shine and ensure their longevity.
